Barnacle Blenny (Acanthemblemaria sp.) overall coloration is variable, but most are brown with light mottling with a darker colored face. The Barnacle Blenny as with most all Blennies exhibit great personality in the aquarium. is a fish that makes a wonderful addition to the reef aquarium. This blenny is perfect for tanks as small as ten gallons as long as it is given plenty of cover. This fish prefers to hide in rocky crevices, barnacles, or empty shells. When food is introduced to the tank, this fish becomes much less shy, launching itself out into the open to snag pieces of food as quickly as it can. The Barnacle Blenny or Tube Blenny is carnivorous, so it should be offered meaty foods such as chopped frozen krill, clam or squid, and frozen vitamin-enriched Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp. Also known as Tube Blenny
