Bicolor Blenny (Ecsenius bicolor) is dark purple and the posterior in yellow to orange. The Bicolor Blenny as with most all Blennies exhibit great personality in the aquarium. It is a herbivore and likes to eat primarily algae, and sessile Invertebrates. Has been known to pick at Small Polyp Stony Coral polyps, but is not common. The Bicolor Blenny is a medium maintenance fish. The Bicolor Blenny may act peaceful (but may become territorial or aggressive) toward other fish. This is a hardy fish.This species can be kept in reef type tanks or community tanks with non aggressive species. Highly recommended not to mix with other Blennys, as it can often be territorial. May tend to pick at clam mantles and corals if feeling particularly belligerent.
The diet of the Bicolor Blenny should include vegetable matter, including frozen and dried foods containing marine and blue-green algae. Also known as: Bicolored blenny, Flametail Blenny, Two-colored Blenny
