CPR Aquafuge Hang-on Refugium Medium Dimensions (L x W x H): 19.25" x 4.5" x 12" CPR introduced its newest line of hang-on Refugiums, the AquaFuge series, which come in three different sizes to meet the needs of marine aquarists. The AquaFuge are all 12" tall, 4.5" wide, with lengths of 13.25", 19.25", and 25.5". Each includes its own powerhead and features a unique baffle system that prevents the substrate and organisms from being disturbed while allowing enough water flow to eliminate stagnant areas. The CPR Aquafuge Hang-on Refugium Medium provides ideal growth conditions for food items such as copepods and amphipods, to feed invertebrates and fish in the main tank. The CPR Aquafuge Hang-on Refugium Medium also provides a controlled growing area for macroalgae, which can be used to reduce “nuisance” algae in the main tank and provide a “nursery” area for a variety of organisms.
