product description

Declevis Butterfly (Chaetodon declevis), also known as the Marquesan Butterflyfish, is real rare beauty in the industry, and only comes from a small area of the Pacific Ocean in the area of Christmas Island. Remaining relatively small, the Declivis Butterfly has beautiful orange coloration covering the dorsal half of the body, as well as a small orange mask covering the eyes. The remaining portions of the fish are white with black spots. These are relatively hardy fish that will add beauty as well as rarity to the marine aquarium. The Declivis Butterflyfish is quite shy and should be provided multiple hiding The diet of the Declivis Butterflyfish should consist of preparations containing various meaty foods. Finely chopped clams, shrimp, squid, mysis, brine, and krill should all be offered, as well as plenty of algae
