Firefish Goby (Nemateleotris helfrichi) head is yellow, the front portion of the body is white, and the rear portion is pinkish to red. The anal, and caudal fins are highlighted in black. Each Fire Goby will have a hole in the sand or rock that they will dart into when threatened. Provide a deep sand bed with plenty of live rock, to make your Firefish Goby fill more secure. Because they are a jumper, especially if stressed a good tight fitting aquarium hood is recommended. The Firefish Goby Food should consist of algae, zooplankton and Will adapt to frozen foods including copepods, brine shrimp, mysid shrimp, plankton, worms and other finely chopped meaty foods.
