Bar Goby (Ptereleotris zebra) is a peaceful fish, and is a close relatives of the popular Firefish. It is light green with pink bars on the body, and a thick pink bar with blue lines on the gills. The Bar Goby is a "leaper" and requires a covered aquarium. They can be kept in groups, as they are in the wild. The bar goby should be kept with less aggressive fish, and with numerous places to hide. It is often reluctant to come out of hiding for a week or two, but once it is fully acclimated it will swim about the tank without reservation. Bar Goby (Ptereleotris zebra) will accept a variety of foods including Brine Shrimp and bloodworms, and will typically accept flake food fairly easily. Also known as: Zebra Barred Dartfish, Zebra Dart Goby, Zebra Goby, Chinese Zebra Goby.
