Jeweled Damsel (Salarias fasciatus)

Jeweled Damsel (Salarias fasciatus) has dark blue body with iridescent blue spots that shine as the light hits there body, it has a very nice look under metal halides. however, this is just the juvenile stage of this fish. Once the fish is adult it will have a yellow to brown color and the blue spots will get smaller. This is a reef friendly fish that will eat flakes and brine shrimp, only one of these fish should be kept in a tank.
