Concentrated food for plankton and invertebrates in saltwater Plancto is a high quality, super concentrated food source designed to provide a safe and consistent alternative to refrigerated live phytoplankton cultures. Plancto is outstanding as a food supplement for dosing directly into reef aquaria and is also highly effective for cultivating zooplankton cultures, such as artemia. Plancto is a laboratory engineered food that is free of the excess organic materials that often accompany the inconsistent refrigerated live phytoplankton cultures. It is made from natural plankton, algae, and special proteins and, by virtue of the 25 – 200m particle size, is suitable for direct consumption by filter-feeding invertebrates, and zooplankton alike.
