families of eels, the moray is

the Banded Moray, Chainlink
Moray, Golden Dwarf Moray Eel,
Goldentail Moray, Japanese
Dragon Moray, Dragon Moray,
Whiteeye Moray, Whiteeye
Moray, Whitemouth Moray,
Kidako Eel, Yellowmouth Moray,
Zebra Moray Eel, Yellow Canary
Eel, Tesselata Eel, White
Ribbon Eel, along with Blue
Ribbon Eel, Black Ribbon Eel
just to name a few. Most Eels
reach a size between 12 to 36
inches and most species adjust
well to life in captivity and
are very hardy inhabitants. A
larger aquarium with adequate
hiding places and a
well-sealed lid is required to
prevent escape. The majority
of the species try to stay
concealed during the day. Most
eels are nocturnally Eaters
and emerge at twilight or at
night – time to feed , Eels
feed mostly on fish,
crustaceans and especially
shellfish.
