Swalesi Basslet (Liopropoma swalesi) is an excellent addition to reef aquariums of any size: either a single specimen for smaller or a number of them for a larger aquarium. If more than one are to be present in the same aquarium, it is recommended to introduce them at the same time. This native of Indo-Pacific waters prefers to dart in and out of Live Rock. Sometimes known as the Pacific Candy Basslet, this hardy fish has alternating orange and purple horizontal striping with black spots on the upper and lower rear fins. As a carnivore, it readily accepts meaty meals including Brine Shrimp and frozen prepared foods. A great fish for aquarists of all experience level
