Tiny organisms invisible to the eye can wreak havoc on your fish, corals and invertebrates. Destroy these micro-organisms and ensure the health of your aquarium inhabitants with a Current Gamma U.V. Sterilizer. The Gamma Sterilizer can effectively kill disease causing germs and other harmful organisms by circulating water within one-half inch of a compact, T-5 U.V. lamp due to a quartz sleeve that allows 99.9% U.V. transmission. The spiral injector also dramatically increases U.V. exposure time as the water rotates around the bulb.
It is recommended that the sleeve be removed every 6 months and soaked in vinegar or any calcium/hard water stain remover to remove deposits. Thoroughly rinse the sleeve. Circulate freshwater through the sterilizer to remove any debris. The lamp should be replaced every 8-10 months for maximum efficiency.
